About this role

AdventHealth Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Pre-Surgery/Recovery RN for day shifts at its Castle Rock, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative assessments covering physiological, psychological, and sociocultural factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery. - Collaborate with surgical and ancillary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure clear communication across departments. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required). - Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking skills to assess patients and revise care plans based on outcomes. - Proficiency in EKG interpretation and basic computer navigation. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $34.26–$59.24 ($71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Sign-on bonus eligible. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Castle Rock is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care.
