About this role
An Intermediate Revenue Cycle Analyst role at AdventHealth is based at the organization's headquarters in Altamonte Springs, Florida, supporting Epic-based revenue cycle operations across a large faith-based health system.
### What you'll do
- Configure, build, and maintain Epic revenue cycle modules and supporting third-party applications, keeping system process documentation current.
- Assess existing workflows, identify gaps, and design future-state processes for new solutions or functionality.
- Develop test scripts and execute unit, system, and integration testing, documenting all outcomes.
- Troubleshoot application issues and system deficiencies, escalate per protocol, and recommend resolutions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects using project planning, coordination, and lean methodologies.
- Provide 24/7 on-call production support as the primary contact for end-users.
### What we're looking for
- Epic Certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of completing classes) required; Epic Credential preferred.
- EMR application implementation experience required.
- Intermediate knowledge of HL7 and API concepts within an integrated healthcare applications environment.
- Minimum 1 year communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and developing training materials.
- Associate degree required (Business, Information Science, or healthcare-related field); Bachelor's preferred.
- Active licensure or certification in a relevant specialty (RN, RPH, RT, AHIMA, HFMA, NAHAM, etc.) required.
