About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for its Outpatient PreOp/PACU unit at the MB Med Plaza location in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on real-time patient responses.
- Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage any resulting complications.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, deliver feedback, conduct appraisals, and execute improvement plans to uphold clinical standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and professional development support.
- Ensure unit-level compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policy requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting — preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience — preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and solid written and verbal communication skills.
