About this role
AdventHealth Littleton seeks a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist for a full-time night shift position at its hospital campus in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments across patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics.
- Set up, initiate, and monitor invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilators, including airway management and tracheal suctioning.
- Perform arterial blood gas punctures, arterial cannulation, and hemodynamic monitoring using sterile technique.
- Deliver oxygen therapy, Heliox, inhaled medications, lung expansion, and bronchial hygiene therapy.
- Assess patient response to treatment, modify care plans, and document all clinical data in the EMR.
- Manage equipment sterilization, inspection, and safe operation throughout each shift.
### What we're looking for
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required).
- State CRT or RRT licensure with active NBRC credential maintained as a condition of employment.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (all required at hire).
- 1+ year of respiratory therapist experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with EMR systems and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and independent patient assessment within scope of certification.
