About this role
AdventHealth Orlando is hiring a full-time CVOR Certified Surgical Technician for day-shift cardiovascular operating room procedures at its Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each cardiovascular procedure
- Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case
- Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks
- Direct ancillary personnel during OR room turnover and support efficient turnaround times
- Identify and report environmental or safety concerns to management, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
- Assist with orientation, training, and education of new surgical team personnel
### What we're looking for
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) credential required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Completion of or current enrollment in an accredited Surgical Technology program
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred
- 1+ years of surgical technologist experience preferred; 2+ years of technical field experience preferred
- Solid working knowledge of surgical instrumentation, aseptic technique, and sterile field management
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $21.56–$40.09 ($44,845–$83,387 annualized)
- $7,500 sign-on bonus for eligible external applicants (12-month contract required)
- $3,000 relocation bonus for applicants living 50+ miles from campus (12-month contract required)
