About this role

A Surgical Technician Coordinator role at AdventHealth supports perioperative operations at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Facilitate room setup, instrumentation, equipment, and supply readiness for all surgical procedures - Monitor first-case start times and turnover times, rounding during the shift to keep cases moving efficiently - Coordinate with PACU leadership on bed availability and communicate holds to senior leadership as needed - Manage and maintain Doctor Preference Cards for the specialty, ensuring accuracy and completeness - Oversee ancillary personnel during OR turnover and assist with orientation, training, and education of new team members - Serve as scrub technologist when needed, anticipating surgeon needs and keeping the circulating nurse informed throughout procedures ### What we're looking for - Graduate of a Surgical Technology, LPN, RN, or related military training program - 2+ years of clinical experience in a surgical or perioperative specialty setting - Active BLS certification required - One of the following credentials required: LPN license, CST (NBSTSA), or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) - Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic/sterile technique and surgical instrumentation - 3+ years of healthcare leadership or management experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $21.56–$40.09/hr (~$44,845–$83,387 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states, with the Ginsburg Tower serving as a flagship surgical facility in Orlando.
