About this role
A Senior Nurse Manager for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at AdventHealth Orlando leads day-to-day nursing operations on the CVOR unit at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the CVOR unit
- Manage unit budget and resources, applying healthcare finance principles to maintain fiscal accountability
- Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence-based practice changes and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, modeling clinical and professional standards and supporting ongoing education
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary departments to ensure patient-centered care delivery
- Develop and implement unit-level policies, procedures, and process improvement projects in coordination with the interdisciplinary team
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Demonstrated competency in human resource management, financial management, and performance improvement leadership
- Strong analytical, communication, and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
