About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Med-Surg Orthopedic unit in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to patient safety protocols. - Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes, revising diagnoses and care plans as clinical needs evolve. - Collect and document patient health data systematically throughout each shift. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and post-care expectations. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to strengthen unit-level nursing practices. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia — required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - BLS and ACLS certifications required. - PALS certification preferred. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Availability for 3×12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am), rotating weekends. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.44–$54.92 (approx. $65,000–$114,000 annually). - $25,000 sign-on bonus. - Up to 20% differential of total base pay tied to education and certification advancement. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based community hospital located in Rome, Georgia, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit Protestant health systems in the United States.
