About this role
A full-time PCU day-shift RN role at AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Georgia, providing progressive care nursing across a 3×12-hour schedule with rotating weekends.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments — history, vitals, physical exam — and develop individualized SMART-goal care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer oral, IV, and IM medications and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, IV therapy, and specimen collection safely and accurately.
- Monitor and document the effectiveness of care plans, adjusting interventions based on ongoing patient assessment and clinical feedback.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, self-care practices, and discharge instructions with tailored materials.
- Advocate for patient rights and safety, serving as liaison between patients and the broader healthcare system to secure necessary resources.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice initiatives, and bedside shift reports to ensure care continuity.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7 am–7 pm) with rotating weekends.
- Specialty certifications (CMSRN, CEN, CCNS, or similar) preferred but not required.

- Pay range: $31.44–$54.92/hour (~$65,395–$114,234 annually).
