About this role
A Mammography Technologist opportunity is available with AdventHealth at their breast imaging center located at 12301 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography examinations following provider orders and departmental protocols to ensure optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Position patients and operate mammography equipment, adjusting technical factors and compression as needed while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and documentation requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps.
- Support breast center initiatives including accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Mammographer RT(M)(ARRT) and Registered Radiology Technologist RT(R)(ARRT) credentials required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and mammography equipment.
- Proficiency with PACS systems and basic computer/EMR skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

- Pay range: $26.08–$48.50/hour (~$54,246–$100,880 annually).

The Tuesday–Friday, 7A–5:30P schedule provides a consistent weekday workflow within a collaborative breast imaging team.
