About this role
A PRN Mammography Technologist role at AdventHealth's breast imaging center located at 12301 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform 2D and 3D mammography exams, positioning patients and adjusting technical factors and compression to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Follow all MQSA, FDA, and ACR guidelines, including quality control testing, equipment performance checks, and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems and conduct daily system QC checks per regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the breast imaging team to ensure accurate imaging and timely communication of results or next steps.
- Participate in patient tracking and follow-up processes, including recalls, additional imaging coordination, and biopsy scheduling.
- Support breast center initiatives such as accreditation preparation, community screening events, and quality improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in both Radiography RT(R) and Mammography RT(M) required.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of MQSA, ACR regulations, and radiation safety (ALARA principles).
- Proficiency with PACS systems and basic EMR/computer skills.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $26.08–$48.50 (approximately $54,246–$100,880 annualized at 2,080 hours).
- PRN/as-needed schedule with open weekend day availability preferred.

The Waterford Park location in Orlando serves as an outpatient breast imaging center, providing mammography and diagnostic imaging services to the surrounding community.
