About this role

AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Emergency Department on the night shift in Winter Park, Florida. ### What you'll do - Provide direct oversight of ED nursing staff during night shift operations, supporting consistent delivery of patient care - Lead and mentor team members on unit technology, clinical workflows, and performance standards - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy within RN scope of practice - Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and address complications as they arise - Drive performance improvement initiatives at the unit level - Manage unit business operations, including productivity monitoring and financial practices ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required - Associate's degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree preferred - 1+ year of ED nursing experience in an acute care setting — preferred - 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience — preferred - Demonstrated critical thinking skills in clinical and operational contexts ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr (approx. $70,699–$131,498 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Winter Park is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
