AdventHealth Winter Park is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its Emergency Department on the night shift in Winter Park, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Provide direct oversight of ED nursing staff during night shift operations, supporting consistent delivery of patient care
- Lead and mentor team members on unit technology, clinical workflows, and performance standards
- Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy within RN scope of practice
- Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and address complications as they arise
- Drive performance improvement initiatives at the unit level
- Manage unit business operations, including productivity monitoring and financial practices
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required
- Associate's degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year of ED nursing experience in an acute care setting — preferred
- 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience — preferred
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills in clinical and operational contexts
