RN CCU - Nights

AdventHealth Central Texas is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at its Killeen, Texas campus. ### What you'll do - Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a critical care setting, monitoring hemodynamic parameters and interpreting EKG rhythms - Administer and safely store medications in accordance with department policy, including critical care and sedation agents - Perform and document ongoing patient assessments and reassessments, communicating changes to the multidisciplinary team - Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean environment throughout each shift - Conduct hourly patient rounding and advocate for patient needs across the care team - Support onboarding of new staff and contribute to unit-level problem-solving and workflow improvement ### What we're looking for - Active Texas RN license (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - BLS and ACLS certifications (required) - 2+ years of acute care experience (preferred) - Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation, and moderate sedation (preferred) - Experience with Cerner EMR and Windows-based systems (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.65–$62.59 (~$69,992–$130,187 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off beginning Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health, well-being, and pet benefit resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Central Texas is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Killeen, TX, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit Protestant health systems in the United States.
