About this role
AdventHealth Central Texas is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at its Killeen, Texas campus.
### What you'll do
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a critical care setting, monitoring hemodynamic parameters and interpreting EKG rhythms
- Administer and safely store medications in accordance with department policy, including critical care and sedation agents
- Perform and document ongoing patient assessments and reassessments, communicating changes to the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean environment throughout each shift
- Conduct hourly patient rounding and advocate for patient needs across the care team
- Support onboarding of new staff and contribute to unit-level problem-solving and workflow improvement
### What we're looking for
- Active Texas RN license (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- 2+ years of acute care experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation, and moderate sedation (preferred)
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Windows-based systems (preferred)
