About this role

AdventHealth Millenia ED is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its emergency department in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive physiological, psychological, and sociocultural patient assessments on arrival and throughout the ED visit. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans in response to patient status changes. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Respond promptly to code situations, providing stabilizing interventions as needed. - Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective handoffs. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - At least 1 year of ED experience in a hospital setting preferred. - EKG interpretation competency per unit requirements. - Strong multitasking, critical-thinking, and team-communication skills. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Millenia ED is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
