About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Cardiopulmonary department in Rome, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including observation, interviews, physical exams, and vital signs collection to identify physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs. - Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-driven care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. - Administer medications and treatments (oral, IV, IM) and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, self-care practices, and discharge instructions. - Document all care activities—assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient responses—accurately and in real time in the medical record. - Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice initiatives, and bedside shift reports to ensure continuity and safety. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree — preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required. - At least 1 year of hospital or acute care nursing experience — preferred. - Ability to work 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7 pm – 7 am) with rotating weekends. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.44 – $54.92/hr (~$65,395 – $114,233 annualized). - $20,000 sign-on bonus. - Up to 20% differential of base pay tied to education and certification advancement. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day 1. - Paid time off from Day 1 and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital serving the Rome, Georgia community as part of the AdventHealth system.
