About this role
AdventHealth Redmond in Rome, Georgia is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Med/Surg-Neuro unit, working 7p–7a on a 3×12 rotating schedule with weekend rotation.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including observation, physical examination, and history gathering to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-oriented care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer oral, IV, and IM medications and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, self-care practices, and discharge instructions.
- Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and apply evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active RN licensure (required).
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- 1+ year of hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- Ability to perform bedside shift reports and maintain clear communication across the care team.

- Pay range: $31.44–$54.92/hr ($65,395–$114,233 annualized).
