About this role
AdventHealth Gordon is hiring a full-time PCU Registered Nurse for weekend night shifts at its Calhoun, Georgia hospital.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including observation, physical examination, and history-gathering to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-based care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely — oral, IV, and IM — and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions, self-care practices, and discharge instructions with tailored educational materials.
- Document all care activities accurately and timely in the medical record, including assessments, interventions, care plans, and patient responses.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and accountability.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- One or more years of prior hospital or acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- Ability to work 3 × 12-hour weekend night shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7 pm–7 am.

- $25,000 sign-on bonus.
- Pay range: $31.44–$54.92/hour (approximately $65,395–$114,234 annualized).
