About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for the Med/Surg Surgical unit in Rome, Georgia, working 3×12-hour shifts (7 pm–7 am) with rotating weekends. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive patient assessments including history, vital signs, and physical exams to identify physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs. - Develop and implement individualized, SMART-goal-based care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. - Administer medications (oral, IV, IM) and perform procedures including wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, self-care practices, and discharge planning. - Serve as patient advocate and liaison, protecting patient rights, confidentiality, and access to needed resources. ### What we're looking for - Active RN licensure (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of hospital or acute-care nursing experience (preferred). ### What's included - $25,000 sign-on bonus. - Pay range: $31.44–$54.92/hr (~$65,395–$114,234 annualized); up to 20% differential tied to education and certification advancement. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day 1. - Paid Time Off from Day 1; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Pet benefits, mental health resources, and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute-care hospital located in Rome, Georgia, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the United States.
