AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time ED Senior Nurse Manager to lead nursing operations in the Emergency Department at its Celebration, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Oversee staff performance, manage hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the ED nursing team
- Manage unit budgets and resources, maintaining staffing levels aligned with healthcare finance principles
- Lead and implement performance and quality improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice standards
- Apply critical thinking and technology to decision-making, problem-solving, and integration of new clinical systems
- Mentor and develop nursing staff to their highest levels of clinical skill and professionalism
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and maintain constructive relationships with patients, staff, vendors, and other departments
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care clinical experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Demonstrated competencies in human resource management, financial management, and performance improvement leadership
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
