About this role
AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time Patient Care Technician for the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit on nights in Rome, Georgia.
### What you'll do
- Deliver direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, appropriate to patient age, mobility, acuity, and cultural background.
- Perform treatments per policy and respond appropriately during clinical emergencies.
- Assist with nursing history intake and report abnormal findings to the registered nurse.
- Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow isolation, PPE, and hand-hygiene protocols.
- Support quality initiatives and adapt practice based on performance improvement activities.
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Active BLS/CPR certification (required).
- One of the following credentials: CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT (required).
- 1+ year of PCT or bedside patient care experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
- Prior experience as a unit secretary or monitor technician is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based community hospital located in Rome, Georgia, part of the AdventHealth system. The Cardiovascular PCU provides step-down level cardiac monitoring and care, operating on a 3×12 night shift schedule (6 pm–6 am) with rotating weekends.
