About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time EMS Transport Nurse (RN) for night shifts (1800–0600) based out of the Ginsburg Tower / Millenia hub in Orlando, Florida, with a planned transition to the Kissimmee hub within the year.
### What you'll do
- Assess, interpret, and report diagnostic data for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across the full acuity spectrum
- Administer and calculate medications while monitoring patient responses per established transport protocols
- Provide emergency and critical care during patient transport via ground ambulance, rotor-wing aircraft, and fixed-wing aircraft
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation throughout transport
- Operate radio communications and remain alert to environmental hazards during all transport missions
- Apply high-level abstract reasoning to evaluate interventions and revise the plan of care based on patient outcomes
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum; BSN preferred
- BLS/CPR certification — required
- 2+ years of acute care experience — required; critical care, ED, or transport RN experience preferred
- TNCC, PALS, CEN, CCNS, or C-NPT certifications preferred
- Critical care nursing knowledge and familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
