Full Time Certified PCT/HUC (Days)

A full-time Certified PCT/HUC (Day Shift) role at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida, supporting inpatient care delivery on a hospital unit. ### What you'll do - Prepare rooms for new admissions, orient patients, and assist with transfers between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs - Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and personal care activities in the electronic medical record - Collect and label patient specimens at bedside and route them to the laboratory - Respond to patient call lights, assist with activities of daily living, and maintain a clean and safe patient environment - Serve as a communication liaison among patients, families, nursing staff, and medical personnel - Maintain accurate unit census and patient records; support purposeful hourly rounding ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following: CPCT/A, CNA, or EMT certification (required) - 1+ year of patient care experience (preferred) - Basic computer skills and working knowledge of medical terminology - Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $16.14–$25.83 (approximately $33,571–$53,726 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day 1 - Paid time off from Day 1 - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a faith-based acute care hospital located in Tavares, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system.
