Care Management Assistant PRN-Weekend Days

A Care Management Assistant (PRN, Weekend Days) supports inpatient care coordination at AdventHealth East Orlando in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Collaborate with RN and Social Work Care Managers to coordinate patient care and services - Arrange patient transportation and follow-up appointments as directed by the care management team - Obtain insurance authorizations for post-acute care needs under Care Manager direction - Deliver and document regulatory letters to patients or their representatives in accordance with Federal and State regulations - Promote quality customer service through interactions with patients, physicians, and the broader care team ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent - At least 1 year of office experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting - Previous data entry experience preferred - Availability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per 6-week period on Saturday and/or Sunday day shifts ### What's included - Hourly rate of $19.94 (pay range $17.11–$27.38/hr) - Weekend day schedule with a predictable minimum shift commitment - Employment with a mission-driven nonprofit health system ### About the practice AdventHealth East Orlando is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a focus on whole-person care.
