About this role
AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for an acute care inpatient unit at its Orlando, Florida campus, with international visa sponsorship available.
### What you'll do
- Evaluate and update the nursing plan of care, setting and achieving patient goals based on ongoing assessment and diagnosis
- Administer medications in accordance with safety policies and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Communicate patient responses to the medical-nursing plan to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Assist providers with bedside procedures and perform assigned unit duties to support smooth department operations
- Follow CDC isolation and hand-hygiene guidelines and maintain unit-specific clinical competencies and regulatory compliance
- Participate in performance improvement activities and support quality standards and initiatives
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting required
- Demonstrated competency in English language and verbal communication
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to function effectively as a team member
- ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS certifications preferred
