About this role

A full-time Pre-Cardiology RN (day shift, 3×12) joins AdventHealth Orlando at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for pre-cardiology patients. - Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS/CPR certification (required); CCNS certification (preferred). - EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements. - At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred). - Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical-thinking skills with proficiency in Windows-based computer systems. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources. - Mental health support and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Orlando is a large faith-based health system operating out of the Ginsburg Tower at 601 E.
