About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time CT Technologist for night shifts (Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts) at its hospital campus in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform CT examinations on patients of all ages, adapting protocols to individual clinical needs. - Operate scanners, injectors, and monitors safely and in accordance with established department protocols. - Follow patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures before initiating each exam. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. - Educate patients about their exams and manage workflow to minimize table downtime. - Practice infection control standards using approved PPE and disinfectant agents. ### What we're looking for - Registered Technologist – Radiography (RT(R) ARRT) — required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required. - ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification — preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree — preferred. - 1+ years of radiology experience with completion of a CT training program — preferred. - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (approx. $59,654–$110,968 annualized). - $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates; relocation assistance also available. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - CME and career development resources, plus whole-person well-being and mental health support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with hospitals and care sites across the United States.
