About this role

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Advanced Registered Respiratory Therapist II (Night Shift) at its hospital campus on East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa, Florida. ### What you'll do - Deliver respiratory care including aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and invasive and non-invasive ventilator management. - Draw, analyze, and report blood gas results; maintain blood gas lab quality control and analyzer upkeep. - Respond to rapid response and code blue events, performing CPR as needed. - Assist with bedside bronchoscopy and manage Bi-level and end-tidal CO2 capnography. - Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to influence patient length of stay and readmission outcomes. - Act as shift lead when assigned: review workload, make staff assignments, precept lower-level therapists, and report errors to management. ### What we're looking for - State RRT license and NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — both required. - Minimum 3 years of respiratory care experience with at least 1 year in critical care. - Active BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required. - PALS certification preferred. - Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy technical/vocational program. ### What's included - Compensation range: $26.08–$48.50/hr ($54,246–$100,880 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Whole-person well-being and mental health support resources. - Pet benefits included. ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
