About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time OR RN specializing in Neuro/Spine procedures at their Denver, Colorado campus, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and specialty differential.
### What you'll do
- Perform perioperative nursing care for neuro and spine surgical patients, including scrub and/or circulating roles in the OR.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary surgical team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per prescribed protocols, including IV placement, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection-prevention and safety protocols throughout all procedures.
- Document patient care activities in the EMR to maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and surgical outcomes.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience required; 1 year of OR/surgery experience preferred.
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR charting and the ability to operate OR-specific equipment (IV pumps, I-STAT, NOVA Glucose monitor).

- Pay range: $35.04–$65.17/hr (~$72,883–$135,554 annualized).
