About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist to join the hospital medicine service at its inpatient facility in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Attend and actively participate in bedside care plan visits for all patients on the hospital medicine service.
- Respond to and participate in Code Blue and Rapid Response events.
- Provide admission services for the Emergency Department, incoming transfers, and direct or emergent admissions per on-call schedule.
- Accept transfers of care from other clinical service lines when appropriate for hospital medicine.
- Provide co-management and consultative services for subspecialty teams within designated scope and privileges.
- Deliver timely patient evaluations, internal sign-outs, and responses to clinical queries from hospital staff.
### What we're looking for
- Graduate of an MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient APP experience preferred.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Federal and state prescriptive authority and current DEA licensure.
- Active Colorado Medical License (or ability to obtain one).
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
