About this role

A Pharmacy Prescription Transfer Technician role at AdventHealth's Consolidated Service Center, based in Apopka, Florida, supports a centralized mail-order pharmacy transfer call center under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist. ### What you'll do - Enter new prescription orders accurately, including patient details, drug, directions, refills, and physician selection - Handle inbound transfer call center calls, working to meet call volume goals and reduce abandonment rates - Communicate with members regarding prescription plans, prior authorization processes, and step therapy requirements - Process prescription transfers to mail-order, explaining the transfer process clearly to members - Manage daily transfer metrics, monitor order queues, and ensure timely completion of adjudication and corrections - Select appropriate shipping methods for outgoing orders in line with pharmacy service standards ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) license (required) - Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (preferred) - 1+ year of retail, mail-order, or hospital pharmacy experience, or completion of a pharmacy technician student internship - Previous call center experience (preferred) - Prior experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), managed care, or insurance (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $18.14–$29.02/hr ($37,731–$60,362 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of fully paid parental leave - Remote work available after 90-day onsite training period ### About the practice AdventHealth is a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across multiple states, with a mission centered on whole-person care. This role operates Monday through Friday, 9:45 am–6:15 pm, with a remote option upon completing initial onsite training.
