About this role
Part-time OR RN supporting neuro and spine cases at AdventHealth Porter, a faith-based community hospital in Denver, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Assess patient conditions perioperatively and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary surgical team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per prescribed protocols within the OR setting.
- Maintain a sterile environment and enforce infection-control and safety protocols throughout each case.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IV placement, wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Document all patient care activities in the EMR to ensure accurate, up-to-date surgical records.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to advance patient safety and OR efficiency.
### What we're looking for
- Active RN licensure in Colorado (Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical experience required; 1+ year of OR/surgery experience preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- CNOR certification preferred; PALS and ABLS preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR documentation systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support patients and families during high-stress surgical procedures.
