About this role

AdventHealth Connerton is hiring a full-time Med-Surg RN for day shift (7:15 a.m.–6:45 p.m.) at its Land O Lakes, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with standards of care and patient outcomes. - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the broader care team to coordinate and optimize patient care. - Respond promptly to code situations and supervise or delegate care tasks to team members to ensure quality and efficiency. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience (preferred). - EKG competency per unit requirements. - Strong organizational, critical-thinking, and communication skills; fluency in English required. ### What's included - $15,000 sign-on bonus. - Relocation assistance available. - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan and ongoing career development resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Connerton is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission rooted in whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
