A Patient Care Technician (Days) at AdventHealth Connerton provides direct bedside care under registered nurse supervision at the health system's inpatient facility in Land O Lakes, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform treatments per policy, delivering age- and acuity-appropriate patient care on a 7:15 a.m.–6:45 p.m. day shift - Assist the RN team in identifying and meeting patient needs, including obtaining nursing histories and reporting abnormalities - Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policy - Follow isolation protocols, use appropriate PPE, and enforce safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the broader care team - Respond appropriately in clinical emergencies and support quality improvement initiatives ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT certification (one required) - 1+ year of PCT experience (preferred) - Prior bedside care, unit secretary, or monitor technician experience in an acute care setting (preferred) ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $15.87–$25.38 ($33,010–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Connerton is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system committed to whole-person care across body, mind, and spirit.
