### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive medication order verification, drug profile review, and patient monitoring to identify and mitigate medication-related problems.
- Provide direct patient care including pharmacotherapy assessment, therapeutic monitoring, and pharmacokinetic dosing.
- Manage pharmacist consults related to drug dosing and lead transitions-of-care services.
- Precept and mentor pharmacy students, residents, and staff while delivering continuing education to interdisciplinary team members.
- Contribute to scholarly activity through publications, presentations, and pharmacy committee involvement.
- Accurately manage medication inventories and prepare and dispense patient-specific medication doses.
### What we're looking for
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required; Bachelor's degree in pharmacy accepted.
- Active Illinois Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license required.
- Minimum 3 years PGY1 residency plus contemporary hospital or specialty pharmacy practice experience, OR 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital or specialty setting.
- Experience in a large hospital (500+ beds) and integrated healthcare system preferred.
- Pharmacy leadership experience within a hospital or professional organization preferred.
