About this role

AdventHealth EMS is hosting a hiring event on July 22nd (9a–4p) at its Wesley Chapel, Florida campus to fill critical care RN, Paramedic, and EMT roles across multiple Florida battalions and specialty transport teams. ### What you'll do - Deliver emergency and critical care nursing across ground transport units serving Wesley Chapel, Lakeland, Ocala, Polk County, and Port Charlotte - Provide specialized NICU/PICU transport nursing out of the Tampa team - Participate in panel interviews and scenario-based clinical exercises during the hiring event - Assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans using advanced clinical reasoning - Apply EKG interpretation and Advanced Life Support protocols in high-acuity transport environments - Collaborate with flight team and ground crews across the AdventHealth EMS system ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing — preferred - BLS/CPR certification — required - 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting — preferred - CCNS, NRP, TNCC, or CCRN certifications — preferred for specialty transport roles - Strong EKG interpretation skills, critical thinking, and ability to function effectively as a team member ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (~$65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Sign-on bonus available for qualified positions - Relocation assistance for candidates outside a 50-mile radius - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day 1 - Paid Time Off from Day 1; 4 weeks paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan and continuing education opportunities ### About the practice AdventHealth EMS operates a multi-battalion ground transport system and a specialty flight team across central and southwest Florida, including a dedicated NICU/PICU ambulance program based in Tampa.
