About this role

A full-time Neurodiagnostic Technologist I joins AdventHealth Tampa's Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) in Tampa, Florida, performing continuous EEG monitoring and electrode services for inpatient neurology patients. ### What you'll do - Monitor patients undergoing continuous EEG (cEEG) recording for safety via in-room presence or remote video monitoring - Alert nursing and technologist staff when clinical seizures or other paroxysmal events are observed - Connect and disconnect EEG electrodes per NTC guidelines; clean electrodes per NTC protocol - Reconcile physician orders to confirm correct exam protocol and escalate discrepancies to clinical staff - Communicate with patients and bedside staff to document clinical events and observations - Maintain EMU floor supply stock, restock treatment and procedure rooms, and keep work areas orderly ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or GED (required) - Active Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required) - Ability to complete hospital training for rapid response and cardiac arrest activation protocols - Strong organizational, verbal communication, and customer relations skills - Proficiency with computer systems and monitoring camera controls - Prior healthcare setting experience (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $20.97–$38.99/hr ($43,618–$81,099 annualized) - $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates - $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible candidates - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is a faith-based, full-service acute care hospital located on East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa, Florida, operating as part of the AdventHealth system.
