About this role

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Medical/Surgical Cardiology unit on night shift in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on individual patient responses. - Assess patients for appropriate venous access methods and manage related complications. - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards. - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and structured professional development programs. - Ensure unit compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to uphold patient safety standards. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience. - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - Proficiency with Electronic Health Records and solid written and verbal communication skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $33.99–$63.22 (approx. $70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid Time Off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is a full-service acute care hospital located at 1500 SW 1st Ave in Ocala, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health systems in the country.
