About this role

A Physical Therapist role at AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach, a faith-based acute care facility located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and establish individualized treatment plans with measurable goals - Implement, adapt, and document treatment activities and frequency in the EMR accurately and on time - Educate patients and caregivers throughout the care episode, including discharge planning and recommendations - Oversee physical therapist assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with applicable regulations and practice standards - Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support departmental quality standards - Represent the department in community events and educational outreach as an extension of clinical expertise ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license or Temporary PT license (required) - BLS/CPR certification (required) - Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred) - Minimum one year of applicable PT experience - Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite - Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with patients, staff, and providers ### What's included - Pay range: $31.55–$58.69/hr (~$65,624–$122,075 annually) - $10,000 sign-on bonus - $3,000 relocation bonus - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development support ### About the practice AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is part of the AdventHealth system, a nationally recognized faith-based nonprofit health network operating across multiple states.
