About this role

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Neuro ICU at its Daytona Beach, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy within RN scope, adjusting care plans based on patient response. - Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. - Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans. - Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training and professional development support. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policies to maintain patient safety standards. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - BLS/CPR certification required. - 1+ year of charge nurse or leadership experience preferred. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Strong critical thinking, financial/productivity management awareness, and EHR proficiency. ### What's included - Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hour ($70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a faith-based acute care hospital located at 301 Memorial Medical Pkwy, part of the AdventHealth system serving communities across the U.S. The Neuro ICU provides specialized critical care for patients with complex neurological conditions, supported by a multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement.
