About this role
A full-time Cardiology APRN role at AdventHealth, based at the Care Pavilion in Riverview, Florida, supporting a physician-led cardiology practice.
### What you'll do
- Provide primary care and treatment to cardiology patients under supervising physician oversight
- Document medical histories, progress notes, and treatment recommendations accurately and on time in the EHR
- Order and coordinate referrals for laboratory, imaging, and specialty services as clinically indicated
- Maintain and transfer patient health records in compliance with practice policies
- Participate in periodic review of patient health records with the supervising physician
- Ensure all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical orders, is signed by the supervising physician
### What we're looking for
- Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license — required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) — required
- Minimum 1 year of related clinical work experience
- Current ACLS and BLS/CPR certification
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills across a high-volume outpatient setting
- Ability to provide age-appropriate patient education on care management and illness adjustment
