RN PCU Nights

AdventHealth Central Texas is hiring a full-time night-shift RN for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Killeen, Texas. ### What you'll do - Perform comprehensive initial patient assessments within required timeframes and identify teaching and discharge planning needs - Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and respond to changes in patient status with sound clinical judgment - Collect patient data to support both individual care plans and unit-level process improvement initiatives - Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and demonstrate unit-specific clinical competencies - Participate in peer interviewing and peer review processes - Prioritize multiple patient care duties simultaneously while delivering safe, quality care ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (required) - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - BLS/CPR certification (required); ACLS and PALS (preferred) - 1+ years of acute care experience (preferred) - Prior EKG interpretation training - Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) credential preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $33.28–$61.91/hr (~$69,222–$128,773 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off starting Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources - Mental health and whole-person well-being support programs ### About the practice AdventHealth Central Texas is a faith-based community hospital located at 2201 S.
