Certified Patient Care Technician

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Certified Patient Care Technician for night-shift inpatient care at their hospital in Ocala, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform treatments per policy, delivering age-, mobility-, acuity-, and culture-appropriate patient care - Assist the registered nurse team with direct bedside patient care and daily patient needs - Document and report all procedures completed in accordance with department policy - Participate in nursing history collection and report abnormalities to the supervising RN - Follow isolation protocols, infection control guidelines, and safety regulations - Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff throughout the shift ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Active BLS/CPR certification (required) - One of the following certifications: CNA, CPCT/A, or EMT (required) - Ability to function appropriately in clinical emergencies - Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members - Prior PCT, bedside, unit secretary, or monitor technician experience in an acute care setting (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $15.87–$25.38/hr (~$33,010–$52,790 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
