About this role

AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist for its surgical services team in Lenexa, Kansas. ### What you'll do - Set up sterile tables with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications required for each procedure - Scrub, gown, and glove surgeons and assistants; pass instruments and supplies throughout cases - Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with the circulator before and after each procedure - Handle surgical specimens with complete accuracy and maintain sterile technique at all times - Assist with terminal cleaning of the OR and room turnover between cases - Recognize and respond immediately to intraoperative emergency situations ### What we're looking for - Active CST credential (NBSTSA, State Surgical Technologist certification, or NCCT TS-C) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited surgical technology program - Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and sterile field setup - Minimum 2 years of experience as a certified surgical tech (preferred) - Proficiency in at least 2 surgical specialties (preferred) ### What's included - Pay range: $24.01–$44.65/hr ($49,941–$92,872 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Lenexa City Center is a modern facility located at 16950 W 86th Street in Lenexa, Kansas, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
