About this role

AdventHealth Ocala is hiring a full-time Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead clinical operations and nursing staff at its Ocala, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, scheduling, and disciplinary processes for the Pediatric ED nursing team - Manage department budget and resources, monitor utilization, and implement cost-saving measures - Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty standards - Develop and implement policies, procedures, and evidence-based practice changes in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams - Mentor and educate staff on clinical practice models, professional development, and career growth - Maintain clinical competency and provide direct bedside support as needed ### What we're looking for - BSN required; MSN preferred - Active Florida RN license required - 2+ years of critical care or emergency department RN experience required - 2+ years of emergency department RN leadership experience required - BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required - CEN certification preferred; Cerner EMR experience preferred ### What's included - Salary range: $77,759–$144,624 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based nonprofit health network with a mission centered on whole-person care.
