Patient Registration Coordinator Urgent Care Float Pool

A Patient Registration Coordinator (Float Pool) position is available with AdventHealth Centra Care in Palm Coast, Florida, supporting urgent care operations across multiple clinic locations. ### What you'll do - Register and process patients, preparing and filing medical records in accordance with documentation requirements - Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at point of service - Rotate across float pool locations on a schedule that includes weekdays, split Fridays, and alternating weekends - Drive patient experience initiatives by owning the registration encounter from arrival through checkout - Operate EMR systems, copiers, fax machines, and scanners to support front-desk workflows - Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) - Strong customer service skills with the ability to work with patients of diverse backgrounds - Working knowledge of EMR systems; prior EMR experience preferred - Familiarity with medical terminology and basic coding/billing concepts preferred - Phlebotomy skills and CPR certification preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $15.69–$25.10/hour (~$32,635–$52,208 annually) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health support resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Centra Care operates a network of urgent care clinics across Florida, providing accessible walk-in medical services to communities.
