About this role

AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a full-time RN for the Med-Surg Orthopedic unit in Rome, Georgia, working weekend day shifts (Monday/Saturday/Sunday, 7am–7pm). ### What you'll do - Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols. - Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and revise care plans as clinical status changes. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, procedures, and discharge plans. - Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring rights and needs are addressed throughout the care episode. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance nursing practice on the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Georgia (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - BLS and ACLS certifications (required); PALS and CNOR (preferred). - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (preferred). ### What's included - Pay range: $30.40–$54.92/hr (~$63,232–$114,234 annualized). - $25,000 sign-on bonus. - Up to 20% differential of total base pay tied to education and certification advancement. - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond is a faith-based acute care hospital serving northwest Georgia, part of the AdventHealth system.
