About this role
AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for its ICU on the day shift in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Lead ICU nursing staff in the daily delivery of patient care across assigned shifts
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and hold the unit accountable to quality benchmarks
- Manage unit operations including productivity monitoring and financial oversight
- Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy administration
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring complex venous access management
- Serve as a clinical role model and mentor staff on technology, best practices, and professionalism
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking skills applied to ICU operations and patient care delivery
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence behaviors, and function independently in a leadership capacity

- Pay range: $33.99–$63.22/hr ($70,699–$131,498 annualized)
