About this role
AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg and Med Telemetry unit, specializing in Neuro, Spine, and Joint patients, located in Celebration, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
- Interpret EKGs as required per unit-specific Advanced Life Support requirements.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- 1+ year of experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member within a fast-paced inpatient unit.
