AdventHealth Winter Garden is hiring a Senior Nurse Manager to lead the Emergency Department at its Winter Garden, Florida campus.
### What you'll do
- Oversee staff performance, hiring, orientation, and disciplinary processes for the ED team.
- Manage unit budgets and resources, maintaining appropriate staffing levels aligned with healthcare finance principles.
- Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives, implementing evidence-based practice changes and ensuring compliance with professional standards.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering adherence to clinical practice models and ongoing professional growth.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, staff, and physicians to ensure patient-centered care delivery.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting.
- Minimum 2 years of ED management experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Demonstrated competencies in HR management, financial management, critical thinking, and leadership.
