### What you'll do
- Answer and forward incoming calls promptly and accurately to departments, patient rooms, and staff
- Execute overhead announcements and respond to all hospital codes and alarm systems
- Maintain an operational call log of all activities, requests, and issues
- Contact key personnel after hours as needed and update on-call lists when changes occur
- Project a courteous, professional demeanor when communicating with patients, families, visitors, and clinical staff
### What we're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year of switchboard or telecommunications operations experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer systems
- Strong verbal communication skills with clear and precise speaking ability
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bilingual abilities preferred

Texas Health Mansfield is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states. The Mansfield campus is located at 2300 Lonestar Road and serves the growing Tarrant County community with a mission centered on whole-person care. This role works Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, totaling 16 hours per week.
